Cyprus Wildlife Research Institute - offer of internships abroad

Dear Students and Graduates,
we present an offer of internships abroad:
The Cyprus Wildlife Research Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and conservation of Cyprus’s native species and habitats.

We offer a variety of hands-on internship opportunities that allow students to develop practical skills in wildlife care, rehabilitation, ecological monitoring, and content creation. We would like to extend these opportunities to students from your university. Below  you’ll find posters outlining available placements for 2025, which are well-suited for students and recent graduates from programs in biology, ecology, animal care, nature management, veterinary medicine and similar fields. A comprehensive list of programs, requirements, and further details is available at https://v.cwri.net/.

As of October 2024, we have proudly hosted 196 volunteers from 37 different countries, and we are eager to welcome more students who are passionate about working with wildlife and gaining international experience. Our placements are compatible with Erasmus+ programs, allowing students to use Erasmus+ scholarships to cover living expenses. Additionally, for a reasonable fee, we can arrange accommodation and airport transportation if needed.
If possible, we kindly ask that you share this information, along with my contact details, with interested students. I would be delighted to personally assist them with any questions or application guidance.
We look forward to the possibility of welcoming your students to Cyprus for a rewarding experience in wildlife conservation.
